Since 1997, JK Harris has been serving American taxpayers, which have found themselves behind in their federal and state taxes or who needed other necessary tax and financial services.

John K. Harris, a native South Carolinian, founded the company under the premise that most Americans who owed back taxes or needed audit representation couldn’t afford to pay CPAs, attorneys or other professionals hourly rates to solve their back tax issues. The options the IRS allows taxpayers to use in resolving their back tax problems were most often available to taxpayers who could afford services provided by these professionals.
Harris developed a high-volume approach to providing these services, and provided a flat fee structure to prospective clients so they knew (1) their issues would get the attention needed by experienced individuals who would advocate on their behalf and (2) they would pay an affordable, set price. In addition, Mr. Harris also provided the opportunity for the client to finance their payments to JK Harris so they could meet their obligations to the appropriate taxing authorities.
Needless to say, as the company is now in its 12th year, Mr. Harris’ formula has worked as nearly 250,000 customers have been served and the company has 325 locations where consumers can meet with a JK Harris Sales Consultant, by appointment only, in offices nationwide.
JK Harris & Company is comprised of a tax team which includes CPAs, Attorneys, Enrolled Agents and para-professionals who are experienced in the fields of taxation and tax laws. The company secures Limited Power of Attorney designation, becoming the client’s ally, legal representative, and negotiator to resolve the tax liability with the IRS.
JK Harris Advisors, LLC, an affiliate of JK Harris & Company, LLC works with individuals who can benefit from a comprehensive financial plan to help them deal with tax liabilities and long-term financial goals.
JK Harris Small Business Services, LLC, is another affiliate of JK Harris & Company, LLC. They work with businesses that can benefit from having functions of their operations – accounting, bookkeeping and tax preparation – handled by professionals who have years of experience and a track record of success. By turning over these duties to JK Harris Small Business Services, companies can concentrate on running their businesses and making them as profitable as possible.
